With a passion for sustainable fashion, holistic health and wellness, and community impact, I am on a mission to redefine success and elevate the world’s confidence. Originally from Maryland, I have lived in Charleston, SC, Miami, and NYC, immersing myself in both creative and corporate settings over the past seven years. This journey has deepened my love for building successful customer relationships, honing well-rounded leadership skills, and fostering an entrepreneurial mindset.
My initial desire to work in fashion stemmed from growing up in the DC area, where some of my fondest teenage memories involve finding eclectic vintage pieces at local thrift stores. I began my formal fashion career in Charleston, SC, working at local boutiques where I learned firsthand about sales, merchandising, styling, buying, and fashion's role in our everyday lives. Becoming involved in the production side of Charleston Fashion Week was a huge highlight of mine, and taught me how much dedication and attention to detail goes into any production from planning to execution.
Inspired by these experiences and my studies abroad in my mother's home country of Cuba, I decided to continue my fashion career in Miami, FL. After graduating, I moved there and have been fully dedicated to advancing my career ever since. Starting as a stylist assistant, I have worked with over a dozen veteran stylists and 30 brands in both Miami and NYC, and have been the lead stylist for several projects. I feel fortunate to have worked with some of the most hardworking people in the industry on and off set, and will always revere fashion as a creative outlet and form of self-expression.
While pursuing my early career in fashion styling, I was fortunate to be part of the Community Management team for a global co-working startup in Miami. There, I learned about the power of community and building genuine customer relationships, spearheading events and partnerships while managing member accounts for one of the most occupied and beautiful buildings in South Florida. This experience motivated me to pursue my passion full-time as a freelance fashion stylist in NYC, a move that I am forever grateful for and wouldn’t have made without the encouragement of my peers.
After gaining invaluable experience in the fashion industry in NYC for two years, I am excited to leverage my diverse background in fashion, retail, and hospitality further to enhance the customer success experiences of industry-disrupting brands. With a keen interest in emerging technologies and trends in fashion, travel, media, wellness, hospitality, and sustainability, I look forward to contributing my skills to building something greater than myself alongside those with an aligned mission.
