1. How to Redefine Success

The day is June 22nd, 2023, and there are exactly 100 days from now until the end of September. For me, this signifies 100 days of a new chapter of my life in which I allow myself to share my perspective on a topic that I have become fascinated by. That topic is “success”.

You see, for the majority of the past 5 years, I was under the impression that success meant making a lot of money, having a certain number of Instagram followers, or working with the top brands in the fashion industry. It wasn’t until the past year that I really began to uncover what success actually means for me, and my life has changed for the better because of it.

After living in Miami and New York City, two of the most expensive cities in the United States, it goes without saying that I have seen firsthand how financial status is directly tied to someone's traditional perception of success. For me, I tried so hard to mold myself into what the world has deemed successful in order to fit in. Little did I know that I could never feel successful until I redefined success on my own terms while living from a place of gratitude for all of the progress that I have made to get to where I am today.

My goal over the next 100 days is to spark an honest conversation about what success looks like in the 21st century. The truth is, everyone has their own definition of success…and that’s incredible. There’s no right or wrong version, and I think that there’s a major shift happening today that I am committing to being a part of. People are realizing that material things and accolades don’t hold as much value as authentic human connections & experiences, creative & self-expressions, healing & inner peace, and having the freedom to spend time on your own terms.

That to me, is what success looks and feels like. And if you’re someone that can relate, I’m excited to share this journey over the next 3 months with you.

Welcome to 100 Days of Success.
